Legislative Highlights
MSNA held its Annual Nutrition Educational Spring Seminar on March 23-24 at Lake Tiak-O’khata in Louisville, MS. Attendee’s listened to presentations on Marketing, Managers Showcased the “Healthier US School Challenge and spent time learning about the new Proposed Meal Pattern that USDA recently introduced. Attached are several presentations outlining the proposed changes, the impact on Mississippi Schools and a sample letter commenting on the proposed guidelines.
